The Working Groups to run for the next 6 months:
Training & Accreditation: Define the expertise that should define somebody who ‘understands PA’; assess what existing training content can be built on; build a training course and the accompanying exam.
Research Agenda: Identify knowledge gaps – within PA research and at its intersections with other disciplines – that must be closed for an air-tight argument for change, and for subsequent progress towards our mission.
Public Awareness Campaign: Develop the highest-leverage strategy for reaching the tipping point in public consciousness, leveraging conferences and events; mainstream and social media; documentary and feature film; and submissions to regulatory and licensing bodies.
Parent Survival Guide Magazine: Identify what PSG should cover (quarterly) in order to position itself as the preeminent source of insight, debate, and stories from the trenches on PA; expand the PSG distribution network.
Fundraising & Allies: Refine and activate Simply Parent’s revenue streams: grants, donations, organizational and individual membership, advertising, events, and more – to ensure there’s sufficient fuel for our essential work.
Our formidable Advisory Board is launching the first round of Working Groups charged with the first phase of the Advocacy Agenda (announced soon!)
The change we require demands an innovative, multidisciplinary approach – expertly executed. So we’re inviting savvy professionals from around the world to lend their expertise, so that we can relegate parental alienation to the pages of history books.
